DIY | Cassette Wall

Hey Guys,
Over the last couple of weeks I have been working on a super cheap DIY for my wall as I had marks all up my wallpaper and I wanted to hide it.

All you need for this DIY is carpet tape ( I brought mine from Wickes for £2.99 and you will need a handful of cassettes or tapes. You could raid your loft or attic but if you don't have any, charity shops and carboot sales will have. The amount you will need will depend on the size of the wall you want to cover. I would love to have mine going down to the floor but I don't have shares in carpet tape.

1. First of all you need to measure where you want your first line of carpet tape to go ( making sure it is level) then Stick it down.
2. You then can carefully cut where your wall ends and you want to go on to the next strip. Repeat the same again.
3. Once you have all your carpet tape stuck to the wall, you need to carefully peel back the first two lines.
4.  You can now start to add your tapes. I tried to keep colours separate and to not put a tape on if the same colour was above it or next to it. I also recommend having some coloured cassettes to make it look more exciting.
5. Pull away at the other lines and repeat the same again and then that's it!

I hope you enjoyed this post! This is my first DIY on my blog. Thanks for reading x
