A Letter To February

A Letter To February monthly recap lifestyle blog UK

When Sophie, from Shylifeliving, started her monthly moments series last month I was instantly inspired! I loved the idea of capturing moments in time so they last forever! It sounds really stupid I know but I think we live in such a digital age now that we stop and take pictures or videos to remember special moments that have happened but never put them together or save them anywhere safe!

I felt so stuck in a rut with my routine! Like does anyone else just get so used to a routine someone asks you how you're week was but you can't remember because you just do everything like some kind of robot! In order to stop feeling like this, I made it my mission to start capturing more of the month in photos and videos whenever I went out! I also really want to start scrapbooking so if anyone knows any good blogs or YouTube channels that do scrapbooking then do let me know in the comments below!

So today is the first in hopefully my monthly series of photo and video compilations, reflecting on the month just gone! I couldn't do the second a day thing that Sophie is doing because for me that would be super boring, you would just see me do the same thing again and again!  I hope you enjoy it anyway! I am sure they will get more and more interesting as the months go on and I get the opportunity to do more!

< FEBRUARY >
You were an abnormal one, weren't you?
One filled with hard work and rest. A contradictory mess that really wrecked up that much-beloved routine of yours!
A week of being faced with what the real world is like. A very realistic experience of what I could be doing 9-5 for the rest of my life.
Pleasantly followed by a week half term break- which what am I supposed to do with again? Sorry February?
The usual haul, doctors, dentists etc. The fun stuff in life! No, but seriously!
Aw, who I am to complain, a week where I didn't have to get up at 5:45 am each day! What a result!

One of winter's best delights is the beach! Subject to disagreement I am sure! With the bracing wind and my purple hands, I managed to grab some shots of the beach and very enjoyable it was too!
A couple of walks were chucked in for good measure! I love nature and photographing it even more! I am only a novice at videoing it, so please don't expect too much of me!

I am one of those people who does not dread going back to college or school! For the most part, I really enjoy it but the week I was greeted with in February when I came back from half term wasn't quite what I expected!

To be told, you weren't carrying on with your college course that you were enjoying!  To have your words misunderstood and passed around like a kids game of Chinese whisperers, by people in a professional position! Who am I suppose to trust? At the end of the day, it was probably just down to miscommunication but who's left to pick up the pieces- me! Who's left with the tears stinging their eyes, feeling their hard work has been worth nothing- me!

As the end of the month drew to a close, I spent some time away. Some much needed time away after what I could only call the week from hell! I explored some of the south coast and loved it! well when I say loved it Bognor Regis, is a bit of a dive. Sorry if you live there but Eastbourne is just so pretty in comparison! Anyway, I don't want to be prejudice to the beaches! Sorry beaches!

I went to a family party, something we don't do very often! It's occasions like these which really encourage me to appreciate my family more. Through all the awkward hugs and initial conversations although I might not see them much cough * Not once for around 16 years* cough, they really are a lovely bunch and it makes times like these much more special!

Thank you all very much for reading and watching!

I hope you enjoyed it!

How was your February?! Did you do anything fun?! Let me know in the comments below!

Thank you for reading, as always x
