What I'm Currently Reading + iChoose Glasses Review

I've read over 60 books so far this year, I know, I'm pretty impressed with myself. Thanks to my new Booktube channel, a beautiful chaos of books, I've been reading like crazy. I've read so many amazing books this year and some pretty meh ones too. Today I thought I would take you through everything that I'm currently reading and show you my new obsession ichooseglasses.com.

iChoose Glasses, is an amazing website that lets you customize your glasses, with over 10,000 possible side and frame combinations. Simply, choose you're frames and a couple of trendy sides and your good to go, in just a couple of clicks.

iChoose Glasses, kindly sent me over a pair to review for you guys and I'm so excited to, show them to you as I'm kind of obsessed with how they look.

So, what am I currently reading? I was kindly sent an advanced readers copy of The Devouring Gray by Christine Lynn Herman from Titan Books, which comes out on the 16th April here in the UK and I can 100% recommend you go and pick yourself up a copy, when you get a chance.

The Devouring Gray is a YA speculative fantasy, set in a town called Four Paths, which is haunted by The Beast, trapped in the Gray. Violet moves to the area, and tries to settle in, in the nearest high school but she doesn't hold up much hope, as she is a descent of one of the town's founders. Violet meets the other teens in Four Paths; Justin, May, Issac and Harper. When bodies start appearing in the woods, together they have to try and solve the mystery of The Beast.

This reminds me so much of Stranger Things. Its so atmospheric, I love the setting of the woods. The writing is great and I honestly, never wanted to put this book down. If your a fan of the Raven Boys or Stranger Things, I think you will really like this.

When Choosing my glasses from iChoose Glasses, I went with a bright yellow matte pair of sides and a classic tortoiseshell pair too. The pair of frames I went with are called, Guildford. I love the classic shape of them but the extra bar across the top gives a fresh and unique touch. They have over 10,000 combinations to choose from on their website, including lots of options for different sides. They have bright colours, neutral colours, animals prints, stripes, dots plus so many more to choose from.

The frames also come with a staple pair of black sides too. To change the sides, its very simple, just press the bar in on the arm and pull it off. This can be a little bit fiddly at first as they are new, so likely to be stiff and if you're anything like me, you don't want to break them, so are extra careful. They do need a little bit of a tug to get going but after that they are very easy to change. There is also a helpful video guide on their website too, if you get stuck.

The other book, I've been currently reading and loving at the moment, is Sleep by C.L Taylor. An arc copy was kindly sent to be by Avon publishers but it is now out, in hardback in the UK. This is a psychological thriller, that follows a woman, Anna, who goes to work in a hotel on the remote Scottish Island of Rum. Holiday makers come to stay at the Bay View hotel, as its the only hotel on the island. However, rather quickly, their holiday turns into a nightmare as there's a killer on the loose and they're not going to stop until they get who they want.

This is such an amazing thriller, one of my favourites I have read all year so far. It incorporates some of my favourite things in thrillers; a claustrophobic setting where no one can leave, a stalker and an atmospheric setting. I couldn't put this book down. There were so many twists and turns, which I didn't see coming. I would highly recommend this if you like tense, pacey thrillers. I can't wait to read more by C.L Taylor.

Obviously, being an online company, if you're glasses are a bit loose or don't quite fit right, you're going to have to go into a local opticians and get them adjusted, which may cost you. This however, means that your warranty is then invalid.

I love the customizable nature of these glasses. With a quick pop and a click, the slides can be changed really quickly, to match your outfit. I think the glasses and slides are great quality, they are definitely not a cheap feeling pair of glasses.

If you're looking for a pair of fun, customizable and affordable pair of glasses, I couldn't recommend ichooseglasses.com enough. With all the style combinations and a large catalogue of frames, I am sure you will find a pair of glasses you love, just as much as me.

*Thank you very much ichooseglasses.com for sending me over this pair of glasses and frames. I'm not being paid to write this post. All opinions are my own.
