January Favourites

My first two beauty favourites this month have been Topshop's nail polish in' cyogentic'. I picked this utterly gorgeous colour out at the end of December and I was very impressed. its the first topshop nail polish, I have ever brought and it definitely won't be the last. It applies so easily, it lasted a total of 6 days without chipping, I highly recommend.

Secondly, I have been loving this Vaseline in 'rosy lips'. My lips have been awfully dry this month but this lip balm has really helped save them. It has a kind of medical feel to it, as it leaves my lips tingling but the best thing about it is the tint of colour it leaves. This has to of been my go to lipblam this month.

My next favourites this month have been the simple kind to skin cleanser and the soap and glory, soft and sexy body spray. Being January it is pretty nippy and my skin gets quite a hard time from the weather. But this cleansing lotion leaves my skin being 'baby smooth' and I love it.

Every time this month I have sprayed this soap and glory spray, someone has commented about it. I won't try and describe the scent to you, as I am pretty dire at describing scents but I totally recommend if you need a everyday scent.

For youtubers this month I have been obsessed with ' miss budget beauty' I love the fact she uploads so regularly and gives so much detailed information about all the products.

As for TV this month, the undateables stands out to me. I am sure you are all aware of the concept of the show, but if your not, its where people with physical and intellectual disability join dating agency's to find love. I find it is so heart-warming and enjoyable to watch. You can catch up on the episodes in the series on 40D

Lastly for music this month, I have rediscovered The Fratellis. I absolutely love their songs ' for the girl' and ' Chelsea dagger'. I would really recommend you take a listen on Spotify.

The Perfect Nude Lipstick?!

I love trying out new lipsticks and lip products, so recently I asked on Instagram what nude lipsticks and lip products your recommended! In due course I made a Nude lip, wish list ( which you can check out here). So I went out and brought the first one on my list. ( which is also the cheapest)
Today I thought I would do a little review for you guys, on my first impressions.

MUA, is a budget beauty brand, which I am sure you all have heard of. As I have said before, I love trying out new brands and products, meaning that's a lot of money that could be wasted on products I don't even like. The lipstick that I am reviewing today is only £1, meaning that if I don't like it, its not a huge expenses.

This is the MUA lipstick in ' Bare 014'. I was recommend this one by a lovely fellow blogger, Amy. You can check out her blog here. I am so glad she recommend me this, because I was not disappointed.

What has this lipstick got to offer? Well okay, its a pound- so you can't expect to much. However the colour of this lipstick is incredible. Its a really nice nude and looks very natural. The lipstick also applies really nicely and sits well on the lips.

My main worries with a cheap lipstick, is the ' This is my first lipstick, I'm 7 and I got it from a Barbie toy set'. Yes okay, this lipstick smells pretty grim and the packaging isn't the best but if definitely doesn't feel like a pound lipstick. The lipstick can be a little drying, but nothing that a good lipblam or gloss on top, couldn't sort it out.

Overall, I am very impressed with this little lipstick, for the price, yes- it has nothing against a YSL or MAC lipstick. But if you are on a budget or just love trying out new products, because you are to afraid to buy a £25 lipstick in the fear that you will hate it or not use it as much, this lipstick is for you.

I hope you enjoyed this x

Do you own this lipstick, what are your feelings on it?

The End Of The Week Pamper...

Hey All!
I love a good Pamper evening! I love my Pamper evenings to be on a sunday becuase it semi makes up for the fact, I have to go to school the next day :(
Here is a round up of what I would use...

First of all, I would paint my nails ( only if it was in the holidays). I have been loving this Topshop nail polish in the colour 'cryogenic'. It's a really nice metallic colour and it lasts go long without chipping!

While my nails are drying, I will get out my favourite magazine to read! TATLER! I may put a vinyl on as well! My favourites are pink Floyds dark side of the moon and Artic monkeys- whatever people say, that's what I am not.

When I go for my shower ( Yes, not a bath! I hate baths unlike many other beauty vloggers or bloggers )
I will pick a shower gel! I usually go for the Soap and glory ' Orangeasm' as it smells amazing and leaves my skin very smooth!

When I come out the shower, I like to put my hand cream on! I have been loving Hand dream! It is so much better then hand food! It is slightly more expensive but totally worth it!

I will then use a body lotion! I normally reach for the 'Righteous butter' from soap and glory! It soaks in so quickly and leaves your skin baby smooth!

Lastly I will put on my foot cream! I have always loved ' Heel Genius' It soaks in so quickly and I love that fact it is so thick and creamy! I also love the fact it is blue!

For the rest of the evening I will just chill and watch YouTube! My favourites recently have been; miss budget beauty, Velevetgh0st and essiebutton!

What's Inside : February's Issue of Tatler

Hey All!

If you are super nosy like me, you love to have a peak inside peoples bags, drawers etc.
So that is why I am kicking of this new feature on my blog ' What's inside:'
Every month, I will be posting a different what's inside post! The first post in this series, is going to be about my favourite magazine, Tatler!

This months Issue, was actually quite special because it came with a Yacht Guide! I have yet to look at it but I am sure I will do, so I can dream and let my imagination  carry me away. It also came with a issue of vanity fair! I am not really keen on vanity fair as much!

I love Tatler! I love spending hours flicking through the glossy pictures and pages, seeing how the other half live! I love their 'tongue and cheek approach' to a fashion, beauty and lifestyle magazine.

Some of my favourite parts of this months issue have to be, the Tatlers guide to state schools, don't know why but I found it really interesting! For fashion this month, They did a lovely article all about 'follow the rainbow' Some of pieces in there are amazing! I practically like some of the blue dresses!
There was also I page about earrings ( seen below) WOW! Aren't they all just so pretty and elegant!

Thanks for reading!
I hope you enjoyed! I am really looking forward to doing more of these posts in the series!

Review | Soap and glory Thick and Fast Mascara

Hello!

I got this mascara a couple of weeks ago now, and I am really enjoying using it!
So I thought I would give you guys a little review.

I think I am quite blessed to have naturally dark and thick eye lashes in my opinion . So when I get a new mascara I normally just want it to lengthen them and maybe curl them a bit. I definitely think this mascara does that!

It really gives some definition to the lashes without clumping. The wand is easy to use. It is made out of plastic, which you may not like but the brush is rather big so you get a lot of product on the end.

However I did apply it to my bottom lashes and I didn't like it as much. I think it made them look a bit spaced out ( if that makes sense) This Mascara is £10 from boots (you can buy it here) For the price I wouldn't be buying it as a day to day mascara but if I was wanting to treat myself or it was on offer ( boots are having buy one get one half price at the moment on soap and glory) I would pick it up.

Overall, I think its a pretty good mascara. Good at adding volume and length but for the price, I am not to sure.

Disappointing Products #1

Hey all!

This is my first post this year! I am actually starting with a disappointing products, which isn't very Cherie but oh well. On a positive note it is something I have never done before!

#1 - VO5 ultimate hold hairspray
I am not the biggest lover of VO5 ever. I have tired their shampoos and conditioners which I like but their 'products', so to speak are not great, in my opinion. I find this hairspray to make my hair really dry and it gives it a horrible texture. It leaves a awful white substance in my hair, straight after applying which I hate. Overall it doesn't do anything for me and I really want to throw it away.

#2- Aussie Mega Instant Conditioner
Normally I will rave on about how much I love Aussie products however this conditioner has really let me down. The formula of it, is way to thick and heavy. It leaves my hair so greasy afterwards, even though I have double and triple checked I have got it all out. I much prefer my miracle moist conditioner which I will try and buy next time instead of this one.

#3- T-zone Fast action spot zapping gel
This did anything but zap my spots. It made me break down more than I have done in months. It is suppose to include witch tree and hazel but does nothing to my skin. It is a clear formula, which I hate. I found it to be sticky and it felt like it was doing nothing. I like a spot cream to feel like it is working on my skin. I would not recommend this at all.

#4 Avon Care Body moisturiser
I like a moisturiser to sink in straight away so I don't have to sit around and wait for it. This   moisturiser does not do that. It just sits on the skin, even if you apply a tiny amount. It feels very greasy and heavy, not nice at all. I also hate the smell of this product.

Thanks for reading x
Do you own any of these products, do you disagree with what I have said?
