Whats In my Holiday Makeup Bag?!

Hey Guys,

I am going on holiday at the weekend for a week, to Cornwall so
there won't be any posts next week, so I thought today I would show you what is in my makeup bag for my week away :)

I am not going to be taking any foundation as I am hopefully going to be spending a lot of the time in the sea or swimming pool. However for a little bit of coverage, I am taking the lasting perfection concealer in cool medium.

Also for base, I am going to be taking the natural collection pressed powder in the shade neutral and a natural collection blush in pink cloud. These are both super light, which is perfect for holiday as I don't want to look cakey and have makeup melting down my face in the sun. ( Like an ice-cream)

I am also going to be taking this pressed powder bronzer from ybf cosmetics. I don't know if I will use this, but if it rains and I need to look like I have at least caught a bit of sun- this will come in handy.

For eye shadow, I am taking the collection nude grey palette. This is the perfect travel companion. It includes 6 neutral shades- I don't think I will need much more for a week away.

As I plan on spending lots of time in water ( hopefully) The only mascara I plan on taking is the Maybelline great lash, waterproof mascara. Hopefully this works perfectly.

As for lips, I plan on taking the collection crème puff in cotton candy 1. This dries just like a matte lipstick but is so much easier to apply than a lipstick. This Avon colour trend lipstick in the shade just peachy , is really easy to apply and gives a lovely hint on colour. Finally for lipblam, I will be taking the Maybelline baby lips in peach kiss ( a trusty old favourite) and a Nivea lipblam in soothe and protect as it has a SPF of 15.

Finally for brushes I am taking the powder and blending brush from Superdrug. I plan on picking up some better ones when I come back of holiday.

Thanks for reading x

I am planning on doing an outfit post and some photography posts about my trip however the weather looks pretty rubbish, so I don't know if that's going to happen :(

Are you going anywhere nice on holiday this year?

' When I was a young one '

This is my first post, as part of the 'secret blogger project'. This months topic is about going down memory lane and reflecting on the past.
Make sure you check out all the other girls posts as well, under the hashtag #secretbp2015

Some of my most favourite memories as a child have to be my holidays. Although I have never been aboard with my family on holiday, I feel like I am able to appreciate the beauty of the country I live in. My favourite holidays include wales, Devon and the isle of Wight. Of course, I can not forget the countless amount of daytrips, we have been on. One of my favourites being riding donkeys along Weston-Super-Mare beach.

As for TV, books and music... I really loved a mix of things.
For TV, I loved Tracy beaker, Mona the vampire and Smile - ( which I actually had my name read out on the TV because of some art I sent in and I got a t-shirt for it)

As for music, the first band I can ever remember liking was girls aloud ( I had every album)

For films, there is no contest of which ones stood out to me as being my favourite! Of course it was DISNEY!! especially Pixar. Some of my favourites being Nemo, monsters inc and bambi

I was such a bookworm when I was a young one. Of course my favourite author was Jacqueline Wilson. I think I own everyone of her old books that she released when I was growing up. some of my favourites include:

That's it for this post, I hope you enjoyed looking back at some of my old favourites from being a child.

Did you like any of the things I shared?

Get Ready With Me | Prom

Today is the day of my year 11 prom so I thought in true blogger style I would show you what I am going to be doing to get ready and my face for the night.

Firstly, I need to feel clean before I can set foot out anywhere. In the shower I am going to be using the Soap and Glory, sugar crush body scrub. This smells amazing and is also fab at getting my skin soft. ( sorry if there is an over load of soap and glory products in this post, I just love them very much)

I don't know if this is TMI but I will be using the veet, hair removal cream on my legs, to make sure they are totally hairless ( especially as I have a side spilt dress)

To soften my legs up, I will be using this Johnsons body care, body lotion. What's great about this is that it gives me legs a little bit of a glow, so they don't look as pale.

Oh what a surprise, another bunch of soap and glory products. I am in love with this Hand dream and heel genius to make both my hands and feet silky smooth.

To make me smell nice, I am going to be using the Glam a lot, soft and sexy spray by soap and glory.

On to the makeup, wooo!! I will probably start of my cleansing my skin with this, Garnier micellar water- which has become my new favourite thing of all time ( NO joke, I have literally used half of the bottle in like 2 weeks)

This is my foundation of choice for the night, I am quite new to foundation, as I find it very hard to find anything that matches my skin. This seems to do a pretty good job- still a bit orange though. I have it in the shade 100, ivory.

I will then use the lasting perfection concealer, with a very steady hand as it is a shade too dark for me. :(

To powder my face, I will use the natural collection powder in neutral, because I don't want my foundation to slip slide everywhere.

For blush, I am going to be using the light pink one out of the Barry M, natural palette. Its really soft and adds just the right amount of colour.

For my eye makeup, I did a whole post on it. You can check it out HERE. but for mascara, I am going to be using the roller lash by benefit. I have been saving this sample for prom once I realised how amazing it was.

For lips, I am going to be using the Avon ultra long lasting glaze wear lip gloss in the shade iced pink. Under that, I am going to be using my favourite lip balm of all time- Nivea milk and honey.

lastly for nails, I am going to be using the Rimmel 60 seconds polish, in the shade Carmel cupcake.

Sorry that was such a long post!
There will hopefully be a OOTD uploaded soon, with what I wore and that.

Thanks for reading x
